2008 - 5th Year Anniversary Jim started with the Burke Group in the Fall of 2003.  He began his career here at Thomson Surveying as a Senior CAD Technician and moved over to CBBEL in 2007 as an Assistant CAD Manager within the Survey Department.  Since beginning his career in 1988, he has come a long way with the development of civil software and is now focused on expanding his Geopak and civil site knowledge.  Jim resides in Bartlett with his wife Cara and their two children Jake and Kelly.  In his spare time he enjoys ballgames at Wrigley, racquetball, cycling, model railroading and relaxing in his hot tub.

2013 - 10th Year Anniversary Jim started with the Burke Group in the Fall of 2003.  He began his career here at Thomson Surveying as a Senior CAD Technician and moved over to CBBEL in 2007 as an Assistant CAD Manager within the Survey Department.  Since beginning his career in 1988, he has come a long way with the development of civil software and is now focused on expanding his Geopak and civil site knowledge. Jim has been the utility coordination kingpin on several large projects. He handles all of the JULIE requests for CBBEL, while balancing his duties as part of the survey department.

Jim resides in Bartlett with his wife Cara and their two children Jake and Kelly.  In his spare time he enjoys ballgames at Wrigley, racquetball, cycling, model railroading and relaxing in his hot tub.

Currently Jake is a freshman at Iowa State University and enjoys working out.  Kelly is a Freshman at Bartlett High School and is a member of the Varsity Dance Team. 2018 - 15th Year Anniversary Jim began his employment with the Burke Group in the Fall of 2003. He began his career at Thomson Surveying as their CAD manager and moved over to CBBEL in 2007 as Assistant CAD Manager within the Survey Department. Since beginning his career in 1988, he has come a long way with standardizing CAD software and working on several CAD platforms. Over the years, Jim has become an integral member of the survey department and in May of 2018, he was promoted to Utility Coordinator. This new position brings great responsibility and involvement on many projects within the company. Jim is focused on improving the Utility Coordination process while maintaining contributions on Survey Department projects. Jim resides in Bartlett, Illinois with his wife Cara. They have 2 children, Jake & Kelly who are currently pursuing their college degrees. In his spare time, Jim enjoys cycling, attending Cubs games and collecting vintage Schwinn and 1970’s BMX Bicycles.
